PRODUCT ELIGIBILITY

The protection offered under this Plan is among the most dependable and comprehensive available, offering coverage above and beyond that offered by the manufacturer. This Plan covers products purchased as new or factory refurbished and manufactured for use in the United States, which at the time of purchase included a manufacturer’s original or factory-refurbished warranty valid in the United States. In order to be eligible for a Plan, the manufacturer's original or factory-refurbished warranty must provide at least 90 days parts and labor coverage. This Plan provides for the repair or replacement of your product to its standard operating condition if the product fails to perform its intended functions due to normal wear and tear or a defect in either materials or workmanship, or unless otherwise stated in the Exclusions from Coverage section of this document. Coverage only applies to products used non-commercially, unless the optional plan for commercial coverage has been purchased. Accessories and/or add-on options purchased separately and not essential to the basic function of the covered product are not eligible for coverage. There is no deductible under this Plan.

This Plan is an agreement between the Administrator/Obligor, Warrantech Consumer Product Services, Inc. (WCPS), 2200 Highway 121, Bedford, TX 76021, and you, the purchaser. However, if you are a resident of California, Maine, Missouri or New Jersey, this Plan is an agreement between the Obligor/Provider of this Plan, the retailer, and you, the purchaser. Please keep this document in a safe place along with the sales receipt you received when you purchased your product. The sales receipt may be required at the time of service. It will serve as a valuable reference guide and will help you determine what is covered by the Plan. As the Administrator, WCPS will assist you in understanding your warranty and Plan benefits from the day you purchased your product.

Delivery

BrandSource Appliance, Mattress and Electronic Product Delivery Terms and Conditions

Major Appliance and Electronic Products Delivery:

Your Major Appliance, Mattress or Electronic Product order will be assigned to a BrandSource member in your area whenever possible. You will be notified by e-mail of the store name and the contact phone number. Your delivering BrandSource member will be contacting you within 24 hours of placing your order. Some BrandSource members may be closed on Sundays; please add an additional day for Friday, Saturday and Sunday orders. Once you receive a confirmation email with the name of your delivering BrandSource member, you may initiate contact directly with them to schedule a delivery time.

There are four (4) types of appliance delivery options: Basic Delivery, White Glove Delivery, Delivery with Installation and Custom Installation.

Basic Delivery

  • A flat rate delivery charge will be added to your purchase for up to three major appliances, mattress (with box spring) and for televisions that are equal to or greater than 40". There will be a charge of $10.00 for each additional appliance over three.
  • Basic delivery is considered a drop off at the customer address indicated on the purchase agreement.
  • The delivery agent will place the unit/s inside the front door or garage.
  • Delivery agents will not remove doors, railings, or other fixtures in the home in order to deliver, install or set up a product/s.
  • Delivery agent may inspect the product for any signs of obvious damage. If any damage is found, it must be indicated on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
  • An adult, 18 years or older must be present at time of delivery. This person must be able to sign for receipt of product/s.
  • The delivery team cannot enter your home unaccompanied, nor can they accept a signed note instructing them to leave your purchase.
  • Sidewalks and driveway must be in place and must be clear of snow, ice and debris prior to attempting delivery. Delivery agents have the right to refuse unsafe delivery conditions.

We reserve the right to refuse delivery to residences that present unsafe delivery conditions or adverse delivery situations.

White Glove Delivery: For televisions that are equal to or greater than 40"

  • A flat rate White Glove delivery charge will be added to your purchase for each items shipped. This amount is higher than a Basic Delivery charge.
  • The shipping agent will bring the unit into your home, unpack the item, remove all packaging materials and power the unit on. This service does not include installation of any type.
  • Delivery agents will not remove doors or railings to get the product into the residence.
  • Customer is to inspect product upon delivery for any damage or obvious defect while the shipping agent is present.
  • Delivery is to a ground floor (first floor level) and does not include assembling stands, connecting VCR/DVD, Surround Sound Systems and or Satellite systems.
  • If after inspection there is damage, consumer note on the delivery ticket and refuse delivery.
  • An adult, 18 years or older must be present at time of delivery. This person must be able to sign for receipt of product/s.
  • The delivery team cannot enter your home unaccompanied, nor can they accept a signed note instructing them to leave your purchase.

Delivery with Installation

  • A flat rate delivery charge will be added to your purchase for up to three major appliances, with a charge of $10.00 for each additional appliance.
  • Delivery agent may inspect the product for any signs of obvious damage. If any damage is found, it must be indicated on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
  • Product will be installed based on the installation selected at time of purchase for an additional charge. If additional work is required to complete the installation of the selected product/s at time of delivery, those charges would be billed separately from the fulfilling member upon completion.
  • Product will be installed on either a 1st floor or lower. If product is to be installed on a 2nd floor or above there will be an additional charge per floor. (See installation options for charges).
  • Delivery agents will not remove doors, railings, or other fixtures in the home in order to deliver or install a product.
  • All installed product/s will be tested to ensure proper operation and functions.
  • Delivery agents are not carpenters, plumbers, or electricians. All electrical outlets, water and gas shut-off valves, and cabinetry must be available and compliant at the time of delivery to complete any purchased installation options.
  • If proper electrical outlets, gas shut-off valves, water supply and shut off valves, or venting sources are not available at the time of delivery, a complete installation may not be possible.
  • Delivery agents will not install products, using previous or old connectors. This would consist of but not limited to the following: washer hoses, plastic or flexible dryer venting, copper or aluminum gas lines or existing flexible gas connectors, or existing electric range cords.
  • An adult, 18 years or older must be present at time of delivery. This person must be able to sign for receipt of product/s.
  • The delivery team cannot enter your home unaccompanied, nor can they accept a signed note instructing them to leave your purchase.
  • Sidewalks and driveway must be in place and must be clear of snow, ice and debris prior to attempting delivery. Delivery agents have the right to refuse unsafe delivery conditions.

We reserve the right dar refuse delivery to residences that present unsafe delivery conditions, or adverse delivery situations.

Major Appliance Installation:

Normal installation for replacement of the same type product would be as follows:

  • Washer
    Removal of old unit, set new unit in place, level, and connect to outlet.
  • Dryer
    Removal of old unit, set new unit in place, hook up venting and either the gas line or electric cord, and level.
  • Dishwasher
    Removal of old unit, set new unit in place, level, hook up water/drain line and connect to existing outlet.
  • Ranges
    Removals of old unit, set new unit in place, level, attach either a flexible gas line or electric cord.
  • Refrigeration
    • Non Ice maker models – Move old unit to garage (removal is additional charge), set in place, connect to outlet.
    • Ice and Water models – Move old unit to garage (removal is additional charge), set in place, connect to existing water line, level if the model allows, connect to outlet.

Non-Normal installation would consist of the following:

  • Washer
    Removal of an old unit with water inside the washer, reinforcing floor to support new washer.
  • Dryer
    Replacement of gas values, extending gas piping, running electric, hooking up to 3" ducting, replacement of 4" exhaust hood thru a wall, moving the washer to replace the dryer (when not purchased together).
  • Dishwasher
    Installation of new water shut off valves, extending or replacement of existing water lines or electric lines, the removal of or cutting of cabinets/countertops or flooring.
  • Ranges
    Installations or replacement of gas shut off valves, extending or replacing of existing gas piping, installation of an Anti-Tip device.
  • Refrigeration
    Reversal of the refrigerator doors, running a new water line.

Major Appliance Custom Delivery and Installation

A custom installation would be required if the installation needed does not fall within any of the predefined installations as indicated on the Installation Addendum. Your BrandSource member will provide an estimate of charges to install the appliance prior to any charges being made.

Electronic Product Shipping Options and Transit Times

Electronic Product
Orders placed on brandsource.com will normally ship within 24 hours of receiving your order. In-stock orders placed by 2pm (Monday through Friday) are usually shipped out the same day. We currently ship products throughout the United States. Your shipping choices are as follows:

Confirmation of your order and delivery will be sent via e-mail or a phone call. The chosen shipping company will contact you directly to arrange for a convenient delivery time. You will experience delays if the shipping company cannot contact you.

Miscellaneous

  • brandsource.com does not ship to Post Office (PO) boxes or APO/FPO addresses.
  • Deliveries to remote locations within the US may cause a delay.
  • Specific delivery times or dates may be available with certain delivery types. Additional charges may apply.
  • At the present time, we are unable to accept or ship orders outside of the US.
  • Warranties for products that are xported will be null and void.
  • Additional charges will be added for freight services if one of the below apply:
    • You live on an island with access or limited access via bridges.
    • You live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan (or anywhere north of Green Bay, WI) or other remote locations throughout the US.
    • You live outside of our local delivery area and you want a specific delivery time or a delivery on a weekend.
    • White Glove Delivery Service is available only within the 48 contiguous United States and Alaska.
    • Delivery time frames are approximations. If there are shipping delays, we will do our best to keep you informed on the location of your order.
    • Orders to Alaska and certain parts of Hawaii can only be shipped via UPS Next Day Air. Some orders to Hawaii can be shipped UPS Ground but fees will apply. Orders to Puerto Rico can only be shipped via USPS (United States Postal Service). None of these areas qualify for shipping promotions.

brandsource.com Return Policy

Orders can be canceled within 48 hours of placing the order without any fee. Any orders canceled after that time could be subject to a restocking charge up to 20% or the actual freight expense to ship and return your order. To cancel an order, email us at orders@brandsource.com

Your purchase is backed by our 30-day return guarantee. To return an order, email us at orders@brandsource.com. Returns need to be made in new and unused condition along with the manuals and original packaging materials and may be assessed a 20% restocking fee. Delivery charges are non-refundable.

All sales are final on Overstock or Clearance items (no returns except in the case of shipping related damage).

Damaged Goods

In the event that an appliance arrives damaged, for minor damages we will enlist a local authorized repair person fix the appliance. If we cannot fix the product to an 'as good as new' condition, we will have the product replaced. Please note the damage on the delivery receipt and email us within 48 hours at orders@brandsource.com. If an item arrives damaged during shipment, please note the damage on the delivery receipt and email us within 48 hours at orders@brandsource.com so that we can make arrangements for a return/replacement (at no cost to you).

Please be assured that all appliances come with a manufacturer warranty. So any potential problem related to a defect can be handled through the warranty and won't need to be returned. We will be glad to assist you with any warranty concerns.

Defective or DOA (Dead on Arrival) Merchandise

While not a frequent occurrence, some items will fail to function directly out of the box. Provided you keep the original packaging, including the UPC bar code on the box and all accessories, you will qualify for our 30-day return guarantee and receive a free replacement unit or a full credit upon returning the item to brandsource.com. Exceptions to the policy include:

  • Major Appliances that have been used at all must be repaired by the manufacturer or the qualified BrandSource Expert who delivered your product.
  • Large Televisions over 40” are NOT eligible for Return and are Factory Service Only.
  • Hazardous items that are gas-powered or contain flammable liquids.
  • Any product missing the serial number or UPC.
  • Gift certificates.
  • Grocery products and Gourmet gift.

While most returned items will fall under the 30-day return guarantee and you will receive full credit for the item, partial refunds will be issued when:

  • An item is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • An item has obvious signs of use.
  • An item not returned in the condition it was received.
  • A laptop or desktop computer has been opened.

Manufacturer Warranties and Repair

  • Manufactures have a written limited warranty that must be followed in the event there is something wrong with the product.
  • Refer to the owner's manual for warranty details.
  • Your BrandSource member who delivered the product/s will ensure that a Factory authorized technician services the product under the manufactures warranty.
  • To obtain service under warranty please contact the member or manufacturer directly.
